Patient Referrals and Admissions

The admissions team at Nexus Specialty Hospital works closely with referring hospitals to ensure that the admission process is efficient. Nurse liaisons and admission coordinators assist in our referral and admission process.

Nexus Specialty Hospital accepts commercial insurance, private pay, workers’ compensation, Medicare and other funding sources. Nexus Specialty Hospital participates as a provider with most major managed care organizations. For organizations not currently contracted with Nexus Specialty Hospital, the hospital may choose to negotiate a letter of agreement.
